ATL Shooting Academy

ATL Bucks Shooting and Scoring School

Saturday Mornings (8/17, 8/24, 9/7, 9/28, 10/5, 10/19)
Grades 2^nd through 8^th as of the 2024-2025 School Year
8:00 am – 9:30 am (Girls)
9:30 am – 11:00 am (Boys)
All sessions held at Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School – 805 Mount Vernon Hwy NW, Atlanta, GA 30327
Led by ATL Bucks Coaches Nichole Dixon, Alex Richey, and Tony Watkins

The ATL Bucks Shooting and Scoring School is designed to focus on offensive skill development with an emphasis on scoring the basketball.

Each session will begin with ball handling, offensive footwork, and layups/finishing moves. From there, players will work on proper shooting mechanics through our “drill for skill” philosophy with an age-appropriate shooting progression series.

For our more experienced players, each session will also include building blocks to get in scoring position such as playing without the ball, reading off-the-ball screens, and attacking ball screen defenders.

All sessions will include 3-on-3, 4-on-4, and/or 5-on-5 games so players can use the principles that they learn in controlled game situations.

Players will be grouped by age and skill level.
